Media Audit Posted: April 12th, 2014
Students will apply what they have learned during the course to a short analysis of their media audit. Specifically, you will use course content to explain how and why aspects of this particular media environment have developed. For example, if you watched a lot of TV during the day you recorded your media experiences, explain how this aspect of your media environment came to be
(refer to content from Week 9&10 of the syllabus). The analysis will consist of 2-3 type-written, double-spaced pages. The grade will be based on quality of writing, quality of organization, and ability to apply course material to reflections on the personal media audit. You don’t need to include a bibliography if you only draw upon the course textbook or lecture materials. But if you do use content from outside the course, you should include a full reference in a bibliography.
